Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the LORD. Behold the husbandsman waitheth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain.

Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the LORD draweth nigh.

For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? But if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently,

this is acceptable with GOD.

And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering;

That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;

Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
